Willie Jones III - the highly accomplished modern jazz drummer who famously served as sideman to Hank Jones, Cedar Walton, Roy Hargrove and more - makes a first time appearance at Ginny’s Super Club, located at Red Rooster Harlem, with one of today’s most soulful quartets on Saturday, December 6, 2014. Especially for this special appearance at Ginny’s Supper Club, the Willie Jones III Quartet will explore the soulful side of straight-ahead jazz. The group will perform originals by members of the band, selections from the Cedar Walton songbook, and tunes made famous by Roberta Flack.
